Programmed Apprenticeships and Traineeships, in partnership with Peters Ice Cream, is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Electricians in Mulgrave.


This is an entry-level position, ideal for individuals starting their electrical career. While previous experience or a Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Pre-Apprenticeship) is highly regarded, it’s not essential. If you have a positive attitude, strong communication and problem-solving skills, enjoy hands-on learning, and are passionate about becoming a qualified tradesperson, we encourage you to apply.

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will:

  • Work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in electrical work
  • Participate in a structured training program combining on-the-job learning with formal education
  • Develop skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of Peters Ice Cream’s Mulgrave facilities, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency

About You:

  • Passionate about the electrical trade and eager to learn
  • A Certificate II Pre-Apprenticeship would be highly regarded
  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed to excellence
  • Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively
  • Ready to take on new challenges and grow with the company
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Committed to attending and completing TAFE blocks as part of the apprenticeship
